The 2006 Troy Sting Staff would like to thank all of the players who came out to our 2016 Spring tryouts. All of the kids worked very hard and we sincerely appreciate their interest in the Troy Sting. At this time the Spring roster has been set and each tryout player has been contacted with the results of their tryout.

USA Hockey has created FUN age appropriate dryland exercises that gives every player (ages 6-12 years old) what he or she needs from a developmental standpoint. Use these drills for 30 minutes pre or post practice 1-2 times a week during the season. These fun drills introduce the players to multi-directional movement skills, multi-directional speed, agility, balance, coordination, rhythm and special awareness.
The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is a sanctioned affiliate of USA Hockey which supervises the activities of over 2,500 amateur hockey teams, and 50,000 players and coaches using a volunteer workforce of elected and appointed officials. MAHA administers amateur hockey in Michigan through seven established districts. Each District is responsible for the local teams and Associations in their area.
The purpose of LCAHL is to provide a positive and rewarding hockey experience for amateur hockey players. LCAHL shall emphasize youth development and leadership, excellence in coaching, sportsmanship, and competitive and fair play. LCAHL desires to provide an environment to improve the ability and attitude of its participants while fostering and promoting the reputation and goodwill of the League, the sponsors, the teams, and the players.
USA Hockey is recognized by the International Olympic Committee and the United States Olympic Committee as the governing body for organized amateur ice hockey in the United States and is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Founded on Oct. 29, 1937, in New York City, New York, the organization is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has a total membership exceeding one million. Its mission is to promote the growth of hockey in America and provide the best possible experience for all participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport.
