2012 Troy Sting is looking for dedicated, hardworking, skilled players looking to play competitive hockey. In the 2021-2022 season, the team was a low Howe 3 team and finished with a losing record. For the 2022-2023 season, Anthony Carollo took over as head coach and brought Josh Brown on to the coaching staff in order to make the jump to Howe 2 and beyond. Sting finished third in their Howe 2 division with a 5-4-1 record losing to only two teams (twice). Sting won runners up in the Grinder Goblin tournament. For the 2023 Spring Season and for 2023-2024 Fall Season, Coach Josh Brown will co-head coach with Anthony. Coach Josh Brown is a non-parent paid coach that has a proven track record both in his personal hockey career and behind the bench. Coach Josh will be in charge of all personnel decisions and will be responsible for managing player growth. Together, we are looking to create a team that can grow together into an Yzerman level Tier II team in under 3 years. We are looking for players that have passion for hockey and are looking to be challenged.
